I originally didn't use Ergo Sum with my consecration build. But I found that I wanted to go faster, but couldn't get through areas fast while also filling up my transcendence darkness meter. There were no good darkness weapons that allowed for this. I needed to kill things quick and build darkness transcendence at the same time. So, I came across Ergo Sum. It builds both transcendence energies, and with the right roll, you can clear rooms in seconds in GM level content. I found arc conductor to be the best because it kills enemies that your not even looking at. The DR to arc damage is also crazy good. And the wave frame is just so fun. It was the perfect pairing with an aggressive consecration build.
The main goal of this is to get your transcendence back as quick as possible to spam consecration. Use your Shackle Grenade and Ergo Sum to build Darkness Transcendence off the rip. 1 or 2 Consecration slams will build up your Light Transcendence instantly. Then go transcendent and slay out. Your prismatic grenade will be able to deal with all 3 champion types, giving you enough time stun them and use consecration. Mostly all the damage buffs to your melee are passive and come about with not much thought, such as Knockout, Shieldcrush, and Transference. Just make sure you are surrounded to get Biotic Enhancements, and try to get the target near other enemies so all the ignitions go off on them. If you ever run out of melees, or need to get dark energy fast, use your super, either Glacial Quake or Bladefury. Don't be afraid to get in the enemies face, as you will almost always have at least 80% Damage Resist, and heal every time you pick up an orb. Don't be afraid to use your thruster whenever it comes up. This will save you many times, because you'll collect far away orbs and heal instantly due to powerful attraction and the leg mods. It also let you make even more orbs thanks to Reaper. Enjoy.
You regenerate health and shields over time. Cannot be interrupted by taking damage.
The target is trapped in Stasis matter and is unable to move. After taking additional damage while frozen, the target shatters.
You are armored with a protective barrier of Void Light. Reduces damage taken from combatants.
A crystal of solidified Stasis matter. Upon creation, freezes nearby combatants and slows nearby players. Crystals can be destroyed, dealing damage in an area.
Your body is encased in a protective mesh of tightly woven Strand matter, greatly reducing any incoming non-precision damage.
You resonate in perfect harmony with Light and Darkness. You gain increased ability regeneration, increased weapon damage, and damage resistance against combatants. Your grenade is replaced with a unique Prismatic grenade that combines multiple damage types. Defeating targets while Transcendent extends its duration.
Darkness debuffs include Slow, Freeze, Sever, Suspend, and Unravel.
You are fortified by layers of durable Stasis matter, reducing incoming damage. Frost Armor damage resistance grows stronger as you gain additional stacks.
Your movement speed and weapon handling are greatly increased. After sprinting for a short time, your movement speed is further increased. Rapidly defeating targets with Arc damage makes you amplified.
A large Solar explosion which deals damage in an area around the target and stuns Unstoppable Champions.
The target's connections to the world around them are cut, and their outgoing damage is significantly reduced. Severed targets unwind into a Tangle when defeated.
The target is immobilized by a web of Strand matter, lifting them into the air. While suspended, Guardians are unable to move freely, combatants are unable to move or fire their weapon, and Unstoppable Champions are stunned. Suspended targets unwind into a Tangle when defeated.
The target is singed by destructive Solar Light, taking damage over time. Scorch damage increases as the target accumulates more Scorch stacks. After enough Scorch stacks are applied to the target, they ignite.
When a frozen target is shattered, they take damage and deal damage to nearby targets. Shatter damage causes Unstoppable Champions to be stunned.
Your weapons are enhanced by the power of the Traveler and deal increased damage to combatants. While you are radiant, your weapons pierce the shields of Barrier Champions and stun them.
